Meet your coach, AJ.
I'm a naturopathic medical student in my final year at Sonoran University of Health Sciences, with a clinical focus in regenerative medicine and endocrinology, particularly in the areas of obesity and weight management.
My passion for health and healing is rooted in over 11 years of experience as a fitness and nutrition coach, where I've helped individuals reach their goals through personalized, strategic programs tailored to their unique needs.
Whether in the clinic or the gym, I enjoy collaborating with individuals to create sustainable paths toward enhanced health, improved performance, and a higher quality of life. My approach combines evidence-based medicine with a profound understanding of human physiology, behavior, and the transformative power of lifestyle change.
When I’m not studying or designing wellness plans, you’ll find me spending time with my family or out on the golf course.

“I’ve had the privilege of working with and training under AJ for over a decade. I began my fitness journey with functional fitness in my early 20s when I first met and was trained by him. I eventually pursued a career as an Air Force Special Warfare Operator, where the demand for physical performance can be life or death. Now in my 30s, the wear and tear on my body is a daily reality. As my goals have shifted—from chasing scores in group fitness classes to prioritizing long-term health and vitality—AJ has been a consistent and invaluable guide. He’s supported every phase of my fitness journey with honest feedback, adaptable programming, and a deep understanding of both performance and recovery. His passion for questioning conventional wisdom and continuously advancing his expertise gives me complete confidence in the direction of my training. I’ve never been as consistent with running as I have been over the last 18 months, and while my strength isn’t what it once was, it’s exactly what I need now. I’ve fully accepted that my lower back is more prone to injury, and I’m grateful AJ has helped me work around it without completely abandoning important movements like hinging. Sometimes I miss doing more intense Saturday-style workouts, but I know pushing too hard would come at the cost of higher injury risk and slower recovery. Overall, I know I’m in good hands, and I’m thankful for the balance and consistency AJ has helped me build.”
